i’m an experienced pr and communications professional based in yorkshire. i’m a lover of the arts, good wine, sunshine and the beautiful yorkshire countryside.
Public relations and communications encompass a great deal. Essentially, I help spread the word about you, your business or an event, using multiple communications channels to get you in front of and noticed by the right audience. I am a communications multi-tasker and I don’t stop until I’ve achieved results.
I thrive on securing media coverage, shouting about things that I believe in and getting people and businesses noticed. I’m a sociable person and building relationships with people comes naturally to me. I enjoy starting conversations, connecting people and writing about it!
I’m based in a little village called Mapplewell; a hidden gem in my eyes. I have the glorious Yorkshire countryside on my doorstep but I’m close to the M1 motorway, so ideally placed for working with clients across the county and beyond.

If you need a fresh pair of eyes and outside perspective to have a good look over what you’re doing on a day-to-day basis to communicate your business, brand, product, etc. I can provide a full strategic review of your current communications.
I will consider what tools you’re currently using, the language you’re using, alongside every aspect of your external communications. I will provide recommendations and an action plan for you to use going forward to make improvements. An outside perspective is a good thing, especially when you’ve run out of ideas and need to shake things up.
copywriting and proofreading
I am a skilled writer and editor. I can create website content, bios, blogs posts and news stories, newsletters, social media posts, marketing literature, internal communications.
I can also provide support of proofreading. If you have an article, a newsletter or a website story that isn’t sitting right, a piece of work that’s too long or a lengthy policy that needs to become user friendly, I can proof it, suggest amendments or rewrite it.

Are you planning a big event, company celebration, an exhibition preview or launching a new product? Whatever the event, if you need support I can help.
Perhaps you need someone to put an event plan together, to think of all the ‘what if’s’ or someone to come up with creative ideas to ensure your event is a success or that all of the logistics run to plan - I’m your woman. I’m an organiser, a ‘to do’ lists kind of person, and often mocked by my friends for my love for a good itinerary!
