Emma Louise PR

testimonials

Here’s what other people say about me…

Emma Louise did a remarkable job in generating press coverage for us at very short notice. She clearly understood the creative project we needed help promoting and communicated very clearly and concisely with Urban Angels and the press. She must have pressed a few magic buttons to get us press coverage with a such tight turn round.

If you are looking for a savvy PR person with great contacts and a creative flair I would definitely recommend Emma Louise PR.
— DEBORAH SANDERSON, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, URBAN ANGELS

Emma was recommended to develop a PR campaign for an exhibition of my work, ‘The Way of All Flesh’ at Astley Hall in 2019. I was delighted with the work that she did. A carefully orchestrated series of social media posts was co-ordinated via an app while Emma worked her magic with the media and press.

The coverage Emma attracted was phenomenal. Images of my work began popping up in unexpected places, while friends were telling me about features and listings they’d seen. I have been fortunate to meet Emma and I look forward to working with her again. I encourage you to talk to her about your projects.

Emma Louise PR had an instant impact on my business in terms of new customer enquiries, social media response and local awareness of the business.
She knew instantly the audience that we were aiming at and how to approach them. Her social media content is very simple but works a treat and has seen my page likes and followers go up tenfold. I’m now no longer having to worry about what to post next or come up with fresh new ideas, Emma does this for me and all I have to do is copy and paste them into my social media - it’s taken a massive marketing weight off my shoulders.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Emma for any of your marketing or PR requirements. She knows her stuff and makes an immediate impact on your business. She’s easy to work with, friendly, flexible and accommodating. I won’t work with anyone else now. She’s worth the investment!

As a graduate and emerging designer Emma helped me take my first steps into my career. She helped me promote myself and my work and even managed to get me a feature in a newspaper and on several websites too. This platform created interest in me and my work and ultimately helped me to get more business and commissions. Since then, I have worked with Emma several times on different collaborations. Emma has also sourced me design work and then acted as a middle (wo)man and negotiated aspects such as briefs and timeframes. Emma has a lot of contacts and tricks up her sleeve to ensure that her clients get great quality PR for themselves or their business, thanks Emma!
— hannah edmonds, designer

I worked with Emma for a number of years in an educational environment. I was always impressed with Emma’s enthusiasm and attention to detail in the projects being developed. Emma is the team player you need around when driving a campaign forward.

Emma Morris is a highly effective PR and was a truly valued colleague at Leeds Arts University. I was fortunate to have worked with Emma since my arrival at the university in 2015. She has helped promote some of our most ambitious curatorial projects to date, including Tessa Farmer, Edna Lumb: Industrious Pioneer, Felice House...I rate Emma’s energy, approachability and professionalism very much indeed.

So what’s great about working with Emma, apart from the fact that she has got me writing guest articles and doing lives for lots of bloggers, got me featured on numerous websites, taught me how to use Twitter properly, got me a huge feature in a the Yorkshire Post (with an almost life-sized photo of me!) that then got me invited to be a guest on BBC Radio London? I can definitely think of a few things:

1. Emma does what I ask her to do – I ask her to find me Mummy bloggers, Emma gets me Mummy bloggers.
2. Emma checks out things that I haven’t asked her about, because she can see opportunities that I don’t even know exist.
3. Emma knows what she’s doing – she understands what helps audiences engage, she knows people who can support with graphics, for example, or other practical things. And it’s all so much easier than searching for those professionals myself. Plus, she is great at giving advice about what to post, what to say, what to focus on, so that I stay on track – there’s definitely some coaching thrown in there!
4. Emma protects me – I notice that she’s always pitching me on Twitter and in other places, but I don’t have to hear about the people who don’t get back, who I’m not quite right for or who mess her about. I don’t have to deal with the ups and downs of chasing someone when they’ve showed initial interest and then go quiet. I just get little emails from Emma – ‘this is the opportunity that’s come up, they’re keen, I think this would be good for you, what do you think?’ I save so much time and energy!
5. Emma is available – if I have a problem, if someone hasn’t turned up when agreed, or something else happens – she is on it and sorts it all out.
6. Emma is one of my biggest cheerleaders – she notices, likes, retweets, comments on my posts and tweets all the time. She remembers when I have something coming up like a live or interview and I’ll always get a little email of support just before. My win, is her win, and it’s just such a positive thing to experience, especially, when, like me, you’re a solopreneur without a team.
7. Emma helps me through things – I have ideas, I let Emma know and she asks me stuff, helps me think things through, has views on what to focus on and how we can make it engaging. She makes me bring my ideas to life properly, and that has helped me hugely - stopping me from scattering my energy and helping me focus on the projects I really want to grow.

So overall – since I started working with Emma over the last 3 months, I have got so much more exposure to different audiences through social media, the press and radio, which is exactly what I have been looking for and it has felt so easy and positive! I feel like she’s going to take me to the next level! Plus, I’ve acquired a wonderfully positive virtual colleague who keeps me focused and always has my best interests at heart. As a solopreneur with a small business and limited budget, I feel Emma is worth every penny.

Emma Louise PR was amazing at building my social media presence as well as promoting my designs and getting me featured in gift guides, something I hadn’t previously thought of.

I have worked with Emma for a number of months after changing my therapy business to online from face-to-face sessions. Emma was approachable, full of ideas and gave sound, valuable marketing advice. Not only did Emma help increase my Instagram presence, she arranged a number of press interviews, raising the profile of our business and helping to drive traffic to our website.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma if you need help with building your business. She is experienced, knowledge and a joy to work with. Thanks so much Emma, I am sure we will work together again soon.

Emma did a fantastic job promoting my exhibition ‘The Way of All Flesh’ at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in 2020. The work featured in several blogs and websites, and she did a fantastic job of achieving national and international press coverage, arranging press photographs of the exhibition.

Truly excellent to work with you Emma, I look forward to the next one.

Emma helped me launch my new business, including creating the branding/marketing concept and setting up my Facebook page, flyers and business cards. Initially she managed my social media content and scheduled posts for me. In a very short space of time, I was getting loads of interest on my Facebook page and lots of enquiries. Emma understood my business and communicated my services in a creative and fun way, something I’d have never known how to do! I’d highly recommend Emma Louise PR.

It was really lovely working with Emma who has helped promote my business. It was the first time I had worked with a PR company for my business and she made me feel at ease with her friendly and positive attitude. She has helped me at the start of my journey and I’m sure she will help many others!

Thanks so much for all you have done for me and all your support, it’s really appreciated.

Emma massively exceeded our expectations in securing widespread press coverage for the project, Hidden History. She is thorough, efficient, and relentlessly hard-working; it was a pleasure to work with her.

Emma Louise PR has been a huge asset to my freelance business. Over the past 6 months, she has helped me organise my social media calendar, advised on how and when to share content and above all supported me in the best ways to showcase the services that I offer my clients.

I run my design consultancy independently and have found that sharing ideas with Emma has encouraged me to remain focused and organised. Not only has Emma offered her skills and experience in PR but she has also worked on project research and events organising to ensure I meet tight deadlines.

I cannot thank her enough and I’m looking forward to our next collaboration.

I was struggling to get my social media presence up and running, so Emma stepped in to help me! Her work has been invaluable. She’s creative, organised and always ready with suggestions for how to translate ideas into posts. I particularly loved how good she was at recreating my ‘voice’ in the posts she wrote for me.

I would definitely recommend Emma to anyone who wants to create a professional and engaging presence on social media and I look forward to working with her again in future.

I used Emma to help me start a new business. I had no idea where to start and Emma took care of everything for me. She provided advice about setting up a business, created a logo, designed the adverts, business cards, and implemented the launch of my Facebook business page together with creating the content for the initial posts. I received enquiries within the first few days of launching.

I would highly recommend Emma. She’s friendly and communicated everything really well and nothing was too much trouble

Thanks Emma for believing in my business plan and giving me the confidence to start my new venture.

I hired Emma to help me steer my social media content (primarily on Instagram) and show me how it’s done.

I couldn’t be happier with Emma’s effort and skill and recommend her services to anyone who finds navigating social media challenging. Thanks Emma!
